Mixology Class FAQs
What do I need to bring to class?
Virtual Classes – Ice, Alcohol, glassware, and bar tools. We will include a list with more detail in your kit and in a class reminder email.
Off-site Classes – Ice & glassware. We will email you with more details once you’ve selected your class.
Mixology at the Mill (Westbrook Classes) – Nothing! We’ve got you covered.
Is it possible to create a custom class, instead of choosing a class theme?
Yes! Please email info@venasfizzhouse.com and let us know what you have in mind
I don’t drink alcohol or have another dietary restriction, can I still take a mixology class?
Yes! Please just let us know ahead of time. Our bartenders can accommodate you or anyone in your group who does not drink alcohol. We do our best to meet all dietary restrictions and can discuss this with you when you inquire.
Can I give a class as a gift?
Yes! You can purchase a gift certificate here.
Can we add bar tools, vintage glassware, or other items to our class kits?
Yes! Just let us know what you have in mind. Keep in mind we provide bar tools for all in-person classes. We also provide glassware for our Mixology at the Mill classes.
Do bitters contain alcohol and are bitters included in the mocktail kits?
Yes and yes. However, each drink recipe only includes a few drops of bitters, so the change in alcohol content is insignificantly small. Our bitters are 40% alcohol and, same as vanilla extract, are considered food products by the FDA. If you do not want bitters in your kit, just let us know. If you are looking for a non-alcoholic bitter, ask us for Dram Bitters. They are glycerin based and contain no alcohol.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! Discounts are available for non-profit events and groups of 100+. Ask us for more details
What is your cancellation policy?
All sales are final. If you would like to reschedule, please let us know one week in advance.
